TREATS FOR DOGS CAN MAKE THEM LEARN BASIC TRICKS

If you’ve got dogs, you know that some of them can be such a pain to train, especially without any positive reinforcements.I can say for a fact that my own dog would just pretend he didn’t hear me calling to him unless he knows I’ve already got a treat ready to give him. If your dog is spoiled just like mine, chances are you’re having a hard time understanding how exactly to incorporate treats while teaching your dog basic tricks. After a ton of trial and error, I’ve finally got a routine that works for some of my dogs. I highly recommend trying some of the following basic tricks with dog treats to finally get your dog to actually obey you.

    THE SIT COMMAND

One of the biggest mistakes dog owners make when teaching their dogs the sit command is actually physically forcing their bodies to the ground to make them sit. This can actually be pretty traumatic to your dog and they might even be reluctant to sit at all when you’re near them. The best way to teach your dog to sit, especially if they’d do anything for a treat, is to stand in front of them, show them the treat, and wait for them to sit on their own. Once they finally sit on their own, yell sit and give them a treat. This way they’re going to learn what the word sit means while also getting some really delicious treats for dogs.

    THE STAY AND RELEASE COMMAND

The stay command can be one of the hardest things to teach a hyperactive dog. Treats for dogs can be a great way to finally make them listen to you.All you have to do is stand in front of your dog and show them the dog treat. Then, throw the dog treat to the other side of the room. Before you let your dog run to the treat, yell firmly no. Once your dog sits still, yell excitedly release. This is proven to work since your dog will expect that they’ll get a treat at the end of the training session. A few tries later, you’ll be able to tell them to sit before throwing the tunai4d. THE DOWN COMMAND

Just like the sit command, one of the biggest mistakes you could do is force your dog to the ground. This can really traumatize them and I can’t guarantee that even dog treats would make them trust you again. What you need to do is put the dog treat close to your dog’s nose. Then slowly bring the treat to the ground and their nose will follow it down as well. Once their nose is to the ground, they’re going to flop to the ground on their own. Once they do, just excitedly yell ground and give them the treat. A couple of tries later, you’ll be able to yell ground even before giving the treat. This is a great way to get your dog to listen to the down command using treats for dogs.

    THE COME COMMAND

Lucky for you, this is probably the easiest command to teach your dog with dog treats. If they’re on the other side of the room, just show them a dog treat and yell come. They’re obviously going to come to you since they’re addicted to the delicious treats for dogs. As I already mentioned previously, you don’t want to force them to come to you. With dog treats, they’ll just come running to you likethe happiest four-legged creatures in the room!
